Black Alaskan Malamute - Full Mask - Star - Blaze - Eagle
Black - Black guard hair with black or dark gray undercoat
Full Mask - Combination of cap, goggles, and bar.
Star - A small white spot in the center of the forehead
Blaze - A white mark extending from the center point of the cap back up the forehead. Width and length can vary.
Eagle - Two bands of dark color protruding partially across the chest forming a pattern resembling the eagle emblem.

Sebastian and Odin are litter mates sons of Thumper and Shinook. They can both be seen in their Puppy Kindergarten pictures on Page 3 and Odin is on Page 8 Sebastian is a non-littermate sibling of Athena & Thor and Panda and Laiya and Timber With the exception of the photo to the left, this page starts out with Sebastian's earliest puppy pictures at Hudson's and shows you the phenomenal growth of an Alaskan Malamute puppy, almost week-by-week. You can also see how much their looks and proportions change, from goofy puppy, to awkward adolescent, to emerging adulthood. Sebastian was 13.7 pounds when his mom received him. At 4, Sebastian is 31.5 inches at the shoulder and 142 pounds. Hi Jolene, Here are Sebastian's growth pictures so far. My sweet goofy boy is 26" at the shoulder and at least 70 lbs at 5 ½ months. Looks like he's going to have Thumper's size and Shinook's sense of humor :) He also has the unique Mal-ability to turn on the charm for strangers fawning over him. They love him there, it's the same folks from whom we take training. They told me they put him in specific play groups because he has the ability to "nail" dogs with attitude, and do it gently, no fights. He helps them maintain order in the play groups, isn't that cool? Mostly, though, he loves playing with Stella, the trainer's Lab that went through Puppy Kindergarten with Sebastian. He's got 50 lbs. on her now, but they ram and race and tussle and almost wear each other out. Their favorite thing is to chase each other through the tunnel, oh, about 50 times in a row! Then sometimes, they each go into different ends of the tunnel and meet in the middle and play. The trainer said it's so funny so see the tunnel rolling around with the two of them in the middle playing. Their help in reinforcing my training with him (walking on leash, sit/stay, down/stay and no jumping on people) is invaluable to him becoming a well-mannered adult. They are all so proud of him and talk about his "Personality Plus". When the Westminster show was going on, they kept telling me "those Mals in the show have nothing on Sebastian!". I'm looking forward to Agility Classes with him in April and getting him a sibling from you in May (so is everyone over at Happy Tails Day Care)!
