Wolf Gray Alaskan Malamute - Open Face
Wolf Gray - Gray guard hairs with light gray, cream or white undercoat. Dog definitely appears gray even though there may be some black hairs on the topline. No red factor evident.
Open Face - A cap covering the head with no other markings on the face..

Hi Jolene,
It's been many months since I gave you an update on Logan:
He's 1yr and 7mths already - hard to believe. at 15 months (4 months ago) we took him to the vet and he was 145 lb on their scale. I think his growing has slowed down - just filling out and getting stronger. He will probably be about the size of his dad when he's full grown I think. He's a big boy with a huge head and huge paws.
Recently he's taken a real liking to swimming. He can swim for 20-30 minutes without stopping and he's really quite comfortable in the water. He's a big sweetheart and doing really well.
Just wanted to keep you updated. Thanks!!

He's very cute...and quite a character. He just graduated from his second puppy class with flying colors. He can be defiant sometimes but at school he acted like a perfect angel.

PS - the other day I was at Fort Funston out at the beach in the bay area and we met two other Mals from Hudson's. It was pretty funny. They were cute - and I think one may have been named Odin? I'm blanking on the names....
Sounds like it may have been Odin & Raiden!

Hi Jolene,
I thought you might want to see some pictures of Logan, born to Shahana and Glacier, Dec 18th.
He's about 6.5 months now and around 100 lbs so he's a big boy. We think he looks a lot like Glacier. He's a real sweetheart but loves to cause trouble too. He and our Golden Retriever mix, Malone get along so well. They play all day long and sleep near each other too - its so cute. Thanks again! Logan has been a fun addition to our family.
He already graduated from his first puppy class and had a really good time even though he towered over everyone in class.
I have some more recent shots I haven't uploaded yet but I will forward you the link when I do.
