Jolene, We are doing very well up here in the north country. Kozei is growing like a weed. He fits in very well with my pack and everyone loves him. Just went to the vet for rabies and distemper - he is just 14 weeks old and a whopping 41 pounds - not fat - all muscle. Sending some new pics - he is a water baby, has already taken up swimming, he loves it and aas you can see I cannot keep him out of any kind of water in the dog yard. Jolene, Just wanted to let you know how everyone is doing. Kozei is really adapting well. He is very happy here and the "boys" are getting used to him. He has accepted them as his new pack mates. He has no problems with the wheels - they don't bother him and he has learned to avoid being run over during our walks. We took him camping last weekend and he just loved it - once again the hit of the campground. He went swimming - he truly is a water dog. He has no fear and you were quite right - he is "full of himself". He has that Malamute strut down pat. He has been to the vet for the first set of shots, tomorrow he goes in for the second set. First week he was 18.5 lbs, second week 23.5 lbs. We did heartworm on the 15th (regular schedule at the house) and he was a whopping 28.9 lbs. Steve says that you can watch him grow as he sleeps.
